The artist graduated from th eDepartment of Painting in Gazi University (1987) and he received MA degree (1989) and Sufficiency in Art (equaltoPhD, 1993) both from Hacettepe University, Between 1990 and 2003, he gave the courses of Painting, Sculpture and Contemporary Art in theDepartment of Fine Arts and Music in ODTÜ. Then, he was honoured with the title of Professor in Mersin University in 2004.
He is still working at Fine Arts Faculty in Gazi University and as part-time instructor for art courses at Fine Arts and Music Department in ODTÜ.
